2K Rotary Mold

For two-component parts, the first injection is moved to the second injection position through a 180 degrees turning



2K Overmold

Overmolding is the injection molding process where one material is molded onto a second material.



2K Core Back Mold

With core-back injection moulding, different materials are injected one by one. Once the first material has been injected into the cavity, the cavities will be swapped. Flexible sealing elements will now open the filled cavity towards the empty cavity to fill the remaining component with the second material through a second sprue. Both materials may be the same, or different



2K Spin Form Mold

The mold is a stack mold with two parallel mould parting lines arranged one downstream of the other, which accommodate the cavities for the preforms and finish moldings. The centre platen does not hold a hot runner, but the two ejector halves. The hot runner is mounted on the stationary and mobile platens. The preforms are shifted through rotation of the centre turning platen around its perpendicular central axis.



Stack Mold

A stack mold are the two (or more) mold parting surfaces. A stack mold does not require much more clamp force than a single face mold because the projected part surface areas of the cavities on both sides of the center block cancel out each others force. The largest advantage to this design is the doubling of machine capacity.



Tandem Mold

Tandem mold a type of stack molding process in which the parts are injected in alternating cycles. While the molding machine opens to demold one parting line, the other is held together by a locking system. The technology can be employed in almost any standard injection molding machine and offers all of the benefits of stack molding as well as extended cooling times.
